The Free Trade Inn sits overlooking the mouth of the Ouseburn river on the Newcastle Quayside. Once the cradle of the industrial revolution in Newcastle, the Ouseburn Valley is now the hub of the city's arts and creative industries.
The last 10 years have seen a dramatic change in the area which is now home to several art galleries and studios, architects, designers, a theatre company, Stepney Bank Stables & Byker Farm, as well as a host of pubs and live music venues.
